Look Beauty products -Review & Swatches!

Hello dolls! Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, I'm having a tough time with work and hardly have any time at all. So, several months ago the English company Look Beauty sent me a little parcel with goodies to try out and I think it's time for me to let you know what I think of them :)

I received 3 little palettes, one that contains brow products (brow gel, matte shadows, a little pair of tweezers and a small brush), a cheek trio palette that includes a bronzer, a blusher and a highlighter and a mini makeover palette which contains eyeshadows, lip products and a blusher, and then I got a lip balm and a lip scrub.

I think the packagings are really cute and sturdy. Now, let's see each product on its own..

Brow Perfect Pro Kit *

This is probably the product  I liked the most. It's a very pretty small palette that contains anything you may need for perfect looking eyebrows. A big mirror, tweezers, a fixing gel, eyebrow stencils, brow shadows in every possible color you may need and a little brush to apply them. The shadows are very pigmented and let me tell you I love to use them as eyeshadows, too! They apply and blend easily and last really well over a primer, and most of all they're completely matte and you probably know how much I love matte shadows! Of course they work really nice on the brows , too. The tweezers are really good as well and they're cute and small enough to conveniently carry with you wherever you may go. The fixing gel is amazing, it's transparent and comes with a mascara wand like most eyebrow gels/mascaras. I've only tried out 4 brow gels in my entire life but this has to be the best I've ever tried, it holds the brows in place better than any other and I really like to use it on its own or over the brow shadow. The brush is not really good though, I always use another brush rather than the one on this set, and I haven't found helpful the brow stencils but that's just me, maybe someone else will enjoy using them. Overall I've used and loved this kit very much and I think it's really nice having it.

Mini makeover palette-Brown eyed girl * -Regular Price: £6.00, now 3£

This is a small kit that contains a mirror, 8 eyeshadows, 4 lip products and a blusher. Again the packaging's lovely. I wasn't crazy about this kit, it's nice but it could be much better. Some eyeshadows are intense and others  have a completely poor pigmentation, they're buildable though. The lip products are like tinted balms, the color definitely shows up on your lips and you can build it up if you want to, but I'll be honest, for some reason I never enjoyed using lip products that came with palettes so I haven't really used them. What I really liked and enjoying using is the blusher. It's very pigmented, it's very soft and has a satin finish and the color is absolutely beautiful. Overall, like I said before it's not a bad kit but I would use it more if the eyeshadows were more pigmented, it's nice to carry in your bag though and the blusher's amazing!

Cheeky Trio-Strawberry Bon Bon*-Regular Price: £6.00, now 3£

That's another product I liked very much. It contains a bronzer, a blusher and a highlighter. Let me tell you the bronzer does not look like a bronzer to me at all because it's a satin rosy brown shade. I do like to use it as a blusher though. The fuchsia-pink blusher is amazing and has gotten lots of use. Now as for the highlighter it's white and shimmery and I don't like to use it as a highlighter, it doesn't look natural at all. I like to use it as an eyeshadow though, so it still gets used. The staying power of all three is really good. The kit's concept is those 3 products to be used all together which I can't really see working out, they don't match at all in my opinion, but I really like to use them separately in the ways I wrote above and I think that's a really nice kit to have if you like those colors.

Lip Smoothie-Luscious lip scrub for ultra-soft lips*-Regular Price: £5.00, now 2.50£

This is the first lip scrub I've ever used and I can't say I was amazed. It has a lovely minty smell-flavour and feels pleasant on the lips but it doesn't exfoliate the lips as much as I'd love it to. It's way too mild for my taste.

Pout Butter-Prettyfing pink * -Regular Price: £3.00, now 1.50£

This is a lip butter I really enjoyed using, it has a very slight pink color and feels so soft on the lips and leaves them really conditioned. I also liked its smell, it smells of something sweet (but a little plastic too if that makes any sense at all). What I didn't really like is the taste of it, if you touch your lips with your tongue it's a bit bitter so you'd better not lick your lips while wearing it. Other than that it does a really decent job and I really like it, although I usually prefer more natural lip products.

So, that's all I got to try from Look Beauty! Overall I was pleased with most of their products because they offer a decent quality, quantity and packaging at a low price, and speaking of that Look Beauty has currently a -50 % sale in all their products, so if you want to try anything out now is a good time!

Γεια σας! Σήμερα θα σας δείξω τα προϊόντα που χρησιμοποίησα περισσότερο τον περασμένο μήνα, είναι ως συνήθως κυρίως προϊόντα μακιγιάζ και πάμε ν'αρχίσουμε για να μην μακρυγορώ!

Θα ξεκινήσω με τα προϊόντα καθαρισμού προσώπου-ντεμακιγιάζ που χρησιμοποίησα πολύ..

Για το νεράκι καθαρισμού της L'oreal σας έχω ξαναμιλήσει εδώ, πολύ ωραίο προϊόν, βρίσκομαι στην 2η συσκευασία. 

Το χρησιμοποιώ σε συνδιασμό με το διφασικό ντεμακιγιάζ ματιών και χειλιών πάλι από την L'oreal, βρίσκομαι και σε αυτό στην 2η συσκευασία, το έχω τιμήσει πολύ το τελευταίο δίμηνο γιατί φοράω συχνά αδιάβροχη μάσκαρα και μου την αφαιρεί με μεγάλη ευκολία. 

Τέλος, χρησιμοποίησα πρωί-βράδυ το gel καθαρισμού Pure Active από την Garnier. Το είχα αγοράσει πριν λίγους μήνες που είχε -40 % έκπτωση αλλά περίμενα να τελειώσω πρώτα άλλα καθαριστικά προσώπου που χρησιμοποιούσα. Έχω να πω πως το λατρεύω! Μυρίζει υπέροχα και καθαρίζει πολύ ωραία το πρόσωπο, το νιώθω καθαρό και φρέσκο :)

Για τα φρύδια μου χρησιμοποιούσα σε καθημερινή βάση το Brow Drama από την Maybelline, είναι ένα προϊόν που σταθεροποιεί τα φρύδια για να μην πετάνε τριχούλες δεξιά-αριστερά αλλά τους δίνει και λίγο χρώμα. Το λατρεύω γιατί δείχνει πενταφύσικο (εκτός αν εφαρμόσω το προϊόν με πινέλο για τα φρύδια αντί για το βουρτσάκι μάσκαρα που έχει η συσκευασία) που τότε το αποτέλεσμα θα είναι πιο δραματικό και πάνω απ'όλα επειδή η εφαρμογή του είναι πανεύκολη και παίρνει ελάχιστο χρόνο, πράγμα που με σώζει αφού έχω ελάχιστο χρόνο κάθε μέρα για να κάνω το μακιγιάζ μου πριν πάω στην δουλειά και υπό άλλες συνθήκες μάλλον δεν θα ασχολιόμουν καν με τα φρύδια. 

Σε πολλές κοπέλες δεν άρεσε γιατί περίμεναν πιο έντονο αποτέλεσμα, εγώ όμως το βρίσκω φανταστικό για βιαστικό, καθημερινό, ελαφρύ αλλά προσεγμένο μακιγιάζ.

Από βάσεις ματιών χρησιμοποίησα περισσότερο την βάση της Radiant και την Too faced Shadow Insurance, είναι πολύ καλές και οι 2 αλλά ακόμη βρίσκομαι στην αναζήτηση της τέλειας βάσης ματιών.

Από concealer για να καλύψω τους μαύρους κύκλους και να φωτίσω την περιοχή κάτω από τα μάτια χρησιμοποίησα περισσότερο το double wear της Estee Lauder και το front touch concealer της Jemma Kidd, τα λατρεύω και τα δύο και συνήθως τα χρησιμοποιώ εναλλάξ. Είναι πολύ καλυπτικά και δεν μαζεύουν ούτε χρειάζονται σετάρισμα με πούδρα.

Προσπαθώ να τελειώσω όσες mascaras έχω ανοιχτές πρωτού ανοίξω άλλες και αυτό το μήνα χρησιμοποίησα πολύ την advanced lash booster από Sephora την οποία αρχικά μισούσα αλλά πλέον δεν μου φαίνεται καθόλου κακή. Να αναμένετε πλήρες review.

Χρησιμοποίησα πολύ το λευκό jumbo pencil της LA Colors στην απόχρωση Sea Shell, είναι πολύ απαλό, κρεμώδες και με πολύ έντονη χρωματική απόδοση και το βάζω στην υγρή γραμμή των ματιών μου.

Από σκιές χρησιμοποίησα πολύ την Custom παλέτα που έχω φτιάξει μόνη μου με μονές ματ σκιές της Jordana που σας έχω δείξει εδώ και την ανυπέρβλητη Smoked παλέτα της MUA που σας έχω δείξει εδώ και για highlighter κάτω από το φρύδι έβαζα την μονή σκιά της Essence στην απόχρωση 02 dance all night που είναι ένα υπέροχο σαμπανιζέ χρώμα.

Aπό κραγιόν χρησιμοποίησα περισσότερο τα : Jordana matte natural, Jordana matte pink Passion, Milani color statement -Plumrose και Flormar Longwearing L37 ( όπως τα βλέπετε από αριστερά προς δεξιά) Αρκετά καθημερινά και wearable χρώματα, υπέροχη ποιότητα όλα και πολύ καλή διάρκεια!

Στα μάγουλα έκανα σχεδόν καθημερινά τον εξής συνδιασμό : κοψίματα με το taupe blush της ΝΥΧ, ρουζ silky rose από Jordana και Mary Lou Manizer highlighter από the balm. Όταν δεν είχα χρόνο για πολλά πολλά χρησιμοποιούσα το suede της Sleek για το οποίο σας έχω μιλήσει εδώ σαν ρουζ και bronzer μαζί.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara Review!

Hello girls! It's been such a long time since the last time a reviewed a mascara, lately I've only been reviewing lipsticks and eyeshadows.. So there we go! Today I'll show you a mascara that I really love, I don't own the full sized but a 2ml mini sized Lancome Hypnose Drama which was a gift with a magazine and since I wanted so much to try it out but couldn't afford to buy it I though this was a good chance! :)

Γεια σας κορίτσια! Πάει πολύς καιρός από την τελευταία φορά που έγραψα κριτική για μάσκαρα, τον τελευταίο καιρό μόνο για κραγιόν και σκιές σας μιλάω. Οπότε , να'μαστε! Σήμερα θα σας δείξω μία αγαπημένη μου μάσκαρα, δεν έχω την κανονική συσκευασία αλλά την mini που περιέχει 2 ml και ήταν δώρο με ένα περιοδικό πρόσφατα και σκέφτηκα πως ήταν καλή ευκαιρία για να την δοκιμάσω μιας και μου φαινόταν αρκετά ακριβή για να την αγοράσω!

Ιt has a really unique wand as you can see and I really like the consistency of this mascara, it's not wet/runny but it's not dry either, I think it's just great. I also like the smell of it very much, it's not too intense so it doesn't bother me and it doesn't stinks like most mascaras do. It's really buildable, but I never apply more than two coats. Two coats are enough to give me that full, dramatic effect I really like. It's very black, it elongates and thickens my lashes, it keeps them separated and it also holds the curl really well throught the day and I've never noticed any smudging! At first I had a slightly hard time finding the best effecient way to apply this mascara because of the weird wand, but after I practiced a little with it I'm now in love with it! Let me also tell you it gets better after 1-2 weeks.

Overall this is an amazing mascara, I totally recommend it and I would buy it if it wasn't that expensive (it costs like 33 euros and it only contains 6,5 ml of product :/ )

Έχει ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο βουρτσάκι όπως μπορείτε να δείτε. Είναι τρίχινο, μεσαίου μεγέθους, με μία παράξενη καμπύλη στο κέντρο. Μου αρέσει πολύ η σύνθεση αυτής της μάσκαρα, δεν είναι ούτε πολύ υγρή, ούτε πολύ στεγνή, την βρίσκω ιδανική. Επίσης μου αρέσει πολύ το άρωμα της, δεν είναι πολύ έντονο ώστε να με ενοχλεί και δεν βρωμάει όπως οι περισσότερες mascaras. Χτίζεται πανεύκολα αν και εγώ δεν βάζω ποτέ πάνω από δύο στρώσεις, αφού με δύο στρώσεις έχω το έντονο, δραματικό αποτέλεσμα που θέλω. Είναι κατάμαυρη, δίνει και μήκος και όγκο (κυρίως όγκο), τις κρατάει όμορφα διαχωρισμένες χωρίς να τις κοκκαλώνει, κρατάει την καμπύλη και δεν παρατηρώ μουντζούρωμα ή κομματάκια να πέφτουν κατά την διάρκεια της ημέρας! Είναι πραγματικά εκπληκτική! Αρχικά με είχε δυσκολέψει λιγάκι το περίεργο βουρτσάκι της, αλλά όταν βρήκα τον πιο κατάλληλο/βολικό/αποτελεσματικό τρόπο για να την εφαρμόζω απλά την λάτρεψα! Επίσης να σας πω ότι βελτιώνεται η σύνθεση της μετά από 1-2 εβδομάδες.

Γενικά την βρίσκω φανταστική, την συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα και θα την αγόραζα σίγουρα αν δεν ήταν τόσο ακριβή ( Στοιχίζει 33 ευρώ και περιέχει μόνο 6,5 ml προϊόντος :/)

Rimmel Moisture Reniew Lipsticks-Review and swatches!

Hello ladies! December's already here, I cannot believe how quickly time passes by. As you may have noticed I don't write as often as I used to and let me explain why. First of all I got a job that is waaaaay too tiring, so even when I'm not working I don't have the courage/inspiration to update my blog as often, and secondly something terrible happened to me and my family and my mood is really, really bad so I don't feel like blogging much for the time being. I do, however appreciate  very much your support all this time, your comments make me smile and I feel very lucky because it's only been 1 year and a month this blog's alive and I have more than 1000 members already and I've met some really wonderful people through blogging, so, thank you very, very much for everything! I'm truly grateful and I promise I'll try to write as often as possible, no matter how tired or upset I may feel.

Now, let's move to the products I want to talk about. Surprise, surprise! This blog post is once more, about lipsticks. You know I'm obsessed with them and own way too many, I really want to review all of them if possible, so there we go! Rimmel, as you probably know is a drugstore brand that offers a wide selection of products in reasonable prices, I really want to try more of their stuff but I only own those 3 lipsticks for the time being.

They are from the Moisture Renew range, which as the name indicates concludes of hydrating/moisturizing lipsticks which I normally don't like much, I'm a fan of matte, pigmented lipsticks no matter if they dry out my lips, which is not the case here.

I own the shades Notting hill nude which is a beautiful pinkish nude, Pink chic which is a soft pink and Violet pop which is a pinkish/violet raspberry (if that makes any sense at all) shade.

My take on the Rimmel moisture renew lipsticks:

They have a beautiful packaging which is also sturdy and the product's safe in it. I like the fact that in the bottom of it you can see the color and name of each lipstick, but I dislike the fact they're not easy to stand upside down on a lipsticks case because of their shape. They are very moisturizing on the lips, they actually feel like a lip balm, and the pigmentation's okay, nothing extraordinary, it's not that strong but it can easily be built up. They don't last  long on the lips but I didn't expect them to either, since they're hydrating lipsticks but that's fine with me as it's very easy to reapply without even having to use a mirror, especially in the lightest shades. They look beautiful on the lips and they don't gather on the fine lines of the lips. However, they have a huge disadvantage in my humble opinion... that smell. Ughhhh! I normally don't have issues with lipsticks' smells, but those have such a strong -flowery I think- smell I can hardly stand it! It's such a pity because they're really nice lipsticks but their smell is way too intense, I may have to try taking the lids off for a day or two and see if it goes away...

Overall, I'd recommend those lipsticks to those who love hydrating lipsticks and DON'T MIND intense smells. I don't think I can think of another disadvantage except their intolerable scent but that's enough on its own to prevent one from using them... I'll try to de-scent them and let you know if it worked.

I had gotten mine from www.fragracedirect.com for 1 pound each, but it unfortunately no longer ships to Greece anymore, but you can also find them at the greek e-shop www.bebeauty.gr for 4,30 euros each,  www.asos.com for 8.62 euros each (there's often a -30% off so keep an eye on it!), ebay , etc.

Sleek blushes-Swatches & Review!

Hello girls! Today I have a blush review from you and I'm going to show you three blushes from Sleek that I own. Sleek, as you may already know is a very good and reasonably priced company which is well known because it offers really good products in very low prices.

As I already told you I own three blushes from Sleek, and all of them are completely matte. Suede, Flamingo and Life's a peach which are a natural rosey brown, intense peach and even more intense fuchsia color.

Καλησπέρα κορίτσια μου, για σήμερα σας έχω ένα review για ρουζάκια από την Sleek. H Sleek όπως λογικά θα γνωρίζετε είναι μία πολύ καλή και οικονομική εταιρεία που φημίζεται για την σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής, ειδικά σε ρουζ και παλέτες σκιών.

Έχω 3 ρουζ στην κατοχή μου, όλα ματ. Το suede, το life's a peach και το flamingo, που είναι αντίστοιχα φυσικό καφέ-ροζ, έντονο ροδακινί και έντονο φούξια.

They have an amazing black, matte packaging which although plastic and basic is really handy and sturdy (although not all of them open easily) and looks luxurious. Inside there is a big mirror and each blush contains the generous amount of 8 grams of product which will never end even if you use them daily.

H συσκευασία τους είναι εκπληκτική, αν και πλαστική είναι πολύ γερή και ανθεκτική (αν και πολλές φορές θέλει αγώνα για να ανοίξει) και το γεγονός ότι είναι ματ την κάνει να δείχνει πολυτελής. Μέσα περιέχεται ένας μεγάλος καθρέπτης και κάθε συσκευασία περιέχει την γενναιόδωρη ποσότητα των 8 γραμμαρίων που και με καθημερινή χρήση ακόμα δε νομίζω να τελειώσει ποτέ ενώ η τιμή είναι μόνο 5μιση ευρώ.

Έχουν πολύ καλή χρωματική απόδοση όπως μπορείτε να διαπιστώσετε.. Ας τα δούμε και ένα ένα

Suede

Suede is a very natural rosey brown color (it photographs more pink than it really is) and it's my favorite because it's the safest choice and looks good with pretty much anything. I had bought this in order to use it when I have heavy make up on my eyes/lips but it turned out to be the ideal everyday blusher! Apart from that if you have a very light skin color like me you can use this as a bronzer as well, it looks really natural! Its color pigmentation is really good but you can build it up as much as you like. If you're looking for a matte, natural cheeks color which leans towards brown then you should definitely get your hands on this!

Eίναι ένα πολύ  φυσικό καφέ-ροζ ματ χρώμα (στις φωτογραφίες δείχνει πιο ροζ απ'όσο πραγματικά είναι) και είναι το αγαπημένο μου γιατί είναι η ασφαλής επιλογή, ταιριάζει πραγματικά με τα πάντα. Το είχα αγοράσει με την προοπτική να το χρησιμοποιώ όταν βάφω έντονα τα μάτια ή τα χείλη μου ώστε να υπάρχει μια ισορροπία και να μην είναι too much και τα μάγουλα, αλλά τελικά είναι εξαιρετικό και για ένα απλό καθημερινό μακιγιάζ. Επίσης αν είστε αρκετά ανοιχτόχρωμες όσο εγώ μπορείτε να το χρησιμοποιήσετε και για κοψίματα, δείχνει πολύ φυσικό. Εγώ όταν δεν έχω πολύ χρόνο στην διάθεση μου χρησιμοποιώ το συγκεκριμένο προϊόν τόσο σαν bronzer όσο και ρουζ και το αποτέλεσμα μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ. Η χρωματική απόδοση είναι πολύ καλή αλλά όχι τόσο έντονη που να γίνεσαι με την μία κλόουν, πράγμα που μου αρέσει γιατί μπορείς να χτίσεις όσο θες την απόδοση του, αν και εγώ επειδή είμαι πολύ ανοιχτόχρωμη όπως ήδη ανέφερα , ίσα που βουτάω το πινέλο και δεν χρειάζεται να χτίσω απόδοση. Αν ψάχνετε ένα καθημερινό ρουζ με τόνους του καφέ αλλά χωρίς να είναι πολύ καφέ/αφύσικο, αυτή είναι η ιδανική εναλλακτική στην θέση του κλασικού ροζ/ροδακινί.

Life's a peach

A lovely matte peach color. In the packaging it almost appears like a neon orange, but when swatched/applied it's not scary at all, it can even look natural if you use a light hand. It can be worn all year long although I prefer this for spring and summer. Its color pigmentation is not bad but it's the worst of all three which doesn't bother me at all as I'm very fair skin toned so it looks intense enough on me without too much product. But you can build it up as much as you like. If you're looking for a matte peach shade this one's great!

Ένα υπέροχο (ματ) ροδακινί. Στην συσκευασία φαίνεται σχεδόν πορτοκαλί, εκτυφλωτικότατο, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα βγαίνει ροδακινί και σε καμία περίπτωση τρομακτικό. Αν έχετε ελαφρύ χέρι μπορεί να δείξει πολύ φυσικό και αυτό και να φορεθεί χειμώνα-καλοκαίρι αν και εμένα τα ροδακινί ρουζ με εμπνέουν περισσότερο για άνοιξη-καλοκαίρι. Η χρωματική του απόδοση δεν είναι κακή αλλά υστερεί σε σχέση με τα άλλα δύο, πράγμα που δεν με ενοχλεί βέβαια αφού και πάλι θεωρώ πως βγαίνει αρκετά έντονο χωρίς να χρειαστεί ιδιαίτερο χτίσιμο. Αν ψάχνετε ένα ματ, καραματ ροδακινί ρουζ αυτό είναι πολύ καλή επιλογή!

Flamingo

A bright, bright, fuchsia color. It couldn't get any brighter. You should really be very careful with this, it can look really pretty if used with a light hand but it can very easily make you look like a clown as well. The pigmentation on this one's insane, you only need the tiniest amount to get that healthy looking, rosey cheeks. If you have the guts or a light hand (or even better both) then check this one out!

Overall I think Sleek blushes are amazing. You get a huge amount of product, the quality's amazing and the price too. If you've been thinking of trying out Sleek blushes but weren't sure, just go ahead and try them out, they'll amaze you!

Ένα εκτυφλωτικό, φλούο φούξια, έντονο όσο δεν πάει. Πρόκειται για ένα κραυγαλέο χρώμα , υπέροχο ναι μεν αλλά πρέπει να έχετε υπερβολικά ελαφρύ χέρι για να το εφαρμόσετε καθώς έχει την πιο έντονη χρωματική απόδοση απ'όλα και μπορείτε να γίνετε κλόουν από την μία στιγμή στην άλλη αν δεν προσέξετε. Έχει ΤΡΕΛΗ χρωματική απόδοση. Εγώ ίσα που ακουμπάω το κέντρο του πινέλου, το τινάζω, και φτάνει και για τα δύο μάγουλα! Πραγματικά ειδικά το συγκεκριμένο δεν θα τελειώσει Π-Ο-Τ-Ε! Αν έχετε τα κότσια ή πολύ ελαφρύ χέρι (ακόμα καλύτερα και τα δύο) πάρτε το! Το λατρεύω αν και θα προτιμούσα να μην είχε τόοοοοοσο έντονη χρωματική απόδοση!
