Wet 'n wild Megalast Lipcolor - Review & swatches!

Ηello girls! Today I have a quick rave review for you and it's about - guess what! - lipsticks! Okay, I'm a sucker for matte, longlasting lipsticks and I definitely believe that no matter how many you may have they're never enough! I've had an eye on those lipsticks for such a long time, and I was trying to convince myself not to buy them until I got to try one and I liked it so much I just couldn't resist getting more!

So, I have 5 shades : Think pink, Mauve outta here, Wine Room, In the flesh and Rosebud and trust me, it was quite hard to choose and not buy them all!

The packaging is nothing special, it looks and feels cheap but at least keeps the product safe, I've never had a bad experience with them so far and what I like is they have  a sticker with the color and name at the bottom which is pretty handy as I keep my most used lipsticks organised in a case and this way I know which is which without having to take the lid off (actually the lid is transparent so I would still know which is which without taking it off :P)

As you can see the pigmentation is insane. What you see is just a swipe of color.

Think pink*

This is the lightest shade I own and it's a very pretty, pale pink. I think it's super cute but I only wear it with smokey eyes because when I combine it with a more subtle make up look I think it washes me off.

Mauve outta here

This is such a pretty, unique shade! It's a lovely mix of pink and purple!

In the flesh

Hands down, this is my absolute favourite and definitely one of my most worn lipsticks EVER! It's a pink brown that looks good with every make up look and makes the lips look so good, I'm in love with it! 

Rosebud

This one is very similar to "in the flesh" but it's more pinky and has a coral hue to it. Another pretty, wearable color!

Wine Room

Another love at first site! This gorgeous lipstick combines red, pink and brown, I don't know how to describe it but it's awesome! It's like a muted berry color , if you like intense colors but feel uncomfortable wearing them this one is a great solution!

Those lipsticks are creamy, extremely pigmented and last for really, really long, especially the darker shades. They come in a wide variety of colors and only cost like 2 ,50 euros if you order them from www.beautyjoint.com or around 6 euros if you buy them in Greece.

As you can already tell I love them and think they are a great value for money and I will definitely buy more shades!

Milani Color Statement lipstics-Rave review & swatches!

Hello girls! I know I'm terrible-I haven't reviewed anything for almost a whole month-but I've been working reaaaaally hard and it's kind of difficult for me to update my blog as often as I used to. I know I've already told you but I really feel bad about it.

Anyway, today I'm going to show you one of my favourite EVER drugstore product, and it's no other than Milani's color statement lipsticks. Those of you who follow me on my facebook page or watch my videos probably already know how obsessed I'm with those lipsticks, but for those who don't that's what this blog post is for :D

Milani, for those who don't know is an American drugstore brand with very affordable prices. I have only tried out their lipsticks but I definitely want to try out more products, especially blushers!

I own seven Color statement lipsticks and I'm not ashamed to say I want to buy more of those babies as I love them so much! If you want to know the reasons keep reading!

Τέλος πάντων, τα ξέρετε ήδη αυτά οπότε σταματάω εδώ την κλάψα. Σήμερα θα σας δείξω ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου drugstore προϊόντα, που δεν είναι άλλο από τα κραγιόν Color Statement της εταιρείας Milani. Όσες με ακολουθείτε στην σελίδα μου στο facebook ή παρακολουθείτε τα βιντεάκια μου λογικά γνωρίζετε ήδη πόσο εμμονική είμαι με αυτά τα κραγιόν, για όσες όμως δεν το ξέρουν θα το μάθουν τώρα :D

Η Milani είναι μία Αμερικάνικη drugstore εταιρεία με πολύ οικονομικά προϊόντα, και απ'όσο γνωρίζω πολύ καλά. Εγώ έχω δοκιμάσει μόνο τα κραγιόν της αλλά θέλω πολύ να δοκιμάσω κι άλλα προϊόντα, ειδικά ρουζ! Έχω 7 κραγιόν και δεν ντρέπομαι να παραδεχτώ δημόσια ότι θέλω να αγοράσω κι άλλα γιατί τα λατρεύω (κι ας έχω εκατό χιλιάδες κραγιόν)

Αν θέλετε να μάθετε γιατί αγαπώ τόσο τα συγκεκριμένα κραγιόν συνεχίστε να διαβάζετε!

Let's start off with the packaging. It's golden, metallic with the Milani logo engraved on, and not printed which I find great because it pisses me off when I see a product's name come off time with time, and all in all the packaging looks and feels really luxurious and expensive and of course it keeps the product safe as it never opens on its own. Another great thing about the packaging is the fact you can see the name and color of the product if you turn the lipsticks upside down which is very handy if you like to keep your lipsticks organised in a lipsticks case as you immediately know which color you're grabbing every time.

Aς αρχίσουμε από την συσκευασία. Είναι χρυσή, μεταλλική, με το λογότυπο της Milani χαραγμένο και όχι τυπωμένο πάνω, πράγμα που μου αρέσει αφάνταστα γιατί δεν κινδυνεύει να φύγει/ξεθωριάσει. Γενικά δεν μου αρέσει όταν το όνομα ενός προϊόντος σβήνεται από την συσκευασία. Πραγματικά η συσκευασία αυτή δείχνει και είναι πολυτελής και σε κάνει να πιστεύεις ότι κρατάς ένα ακριβό κραγιόν, πράγμα που ευτυχώς για την τσέπη μας δεν ισχύει! Τέλος, να πω το ευκόλως εννοούμενο ότι δεν ανοίγει με τίποτα αν δεν το προσπαθήσεις οπότε μπορείς να το μεταφέρεις χωρίς κανέναν φόβο μέσα στην τσάντα σου! Τέλος, μου αρέσει πολύ που στον πάτο μπορείς να δεις το χρώμα και την ονομασία του κάθε κραγιόν, έτσι αν σου αρέσει να τοποθετείς τα κραγιόν σου σε ειδικές θήκες γνωρίζεις αμέσως ποιά απόχρωση πιάνεις κάθε φορά!

Sorry for posting so many pictures, but since I didn't have enough time to do lip swatches I wanted to make sure you'll be able to see clearly/accurately what each color looks like. My little Milani collection consists of pinks, purples and nudes/naturals as you can see and I love all of them.

The pigmentation is fabulous-what you see above is just one swipe! All of them are very creamy and apply wonderfully without patches, at first they have the tiniest shine, but after a while they look matte on my lips and amazingly enough they feel very, very comfortable and not dry at all! It's amazing how creamy they are, they slip like butter on the lips but they are very longlasting and after a while they almost don't transfer on glasses, cigarettes etc, they leave behind very little color. Another thing I adore about them is the smell, they smell like...melon!! Oh my God, I love this smell! I haven't met one single person who didn't like it (and yes, I make my friends smell my lipsticks hahaha)

The best part? They are very, very affordable, they cost around 5 euros ( I buy them from cherryculture and beautyjoint )

Overall, they have amazing pigmentation, staying power, feel, formula, packaging, smell and price!

I cannot think of a disadvantage.

For me they are probably the best drugstore lipstick I have ever used, I love them and totally recommend them! Have you tried them?

Συγγνώμη που ανέβασα τόσο πολλές φωτογραφίες, αλλά εφ'όσον δεν είχα αρκετό χρόνο για να κάνω και lip swatches ήθελα να μπορέσω να σας δείξω όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερα πως δείχνει το κάθε χρώμα. Η μικρή μου συλλογή όπως βλέπετε αποτελείται από αποχρώσεις φυσικές, του ροζ, και του μωβ και τις αγαπώ όλες.

Έχουν απίστευτη χρωματική απόδοση-τα swatches που βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες είναι με ένα μόνο πέρασμα! Είναι όλα τους πολύ κρεμώδη και απλώνονται πανεύκολα σαν βούτυρο χωρίς να αφήνουν κενά. Αρχικά έχουν μία πολύ ελαφριά γυαλάδα, ύστερα δείχνουν ματ, στα δικά μου χείλη έστω. Παρ'όλ'αυτά τα νιώθω απίστευτα άνετα στα χείλη μου όσες ώρες κι αν περάσουν. Αρχικά τα νιώθω ενυδατικά, στην πορεία όχι τόσο αλλά στα σίγουρα δεν τα νιώθω ξηρά ούτε ώρες μετά. Έχουν πάρα πολύ καλή διάρκεια και είναι πολύ σταθερά, αφότου στεγνώσουν δεν αφήνουν σχεδόν καθόλου σημάδια σε ποτήρια, τσιγάρα, κλπ, μένει πίσω ελάχιστο χρώμα. Επίσης το χρώμα ξεβάφει πολύ ομοιόμορφα, και στις πιο έντονες αποχρώσεις μένει ένα πολύ όμορφο "λέκιασμα". Επίσης να πω ότι λατρεύω την μυρωδιά τους... μυρίζουν πεπόνι!!! Όλες μου οι φίλες έχουν ξετρελαθεί με την μυρωδιά τους, ακόμα και αυτές που μισούν τα κραγιόν που μυρίζουν, αυτά τους αρέσουν!

Το καλύτερο? Είναι πάρα πολύ οικονομικά, στα 5 ευρώ περίπου ( εγώ τα αγοράζω από το  cherryculture και το beautyjoint )

Συνοπτικά έχουν εξαιρετική απόδοση, υφή, διάρκεια, αίσθηση στα χείλη, συσκευασία και τιμή. Τα κάνουν όλα και συμφέρουν! Κατά πάσα πιθανότητα είναι τα αγαπημένα μου drugstore κραγιόν. Εννοείται τα συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Rimmel Moisture Reniew Lipsticks-Review and swatches!

Hello ladies! December's already here, I cannot believe how quickly time passes by. As you may have noticed I don't write as often as I used to and let me explain why. First of all I got a job that is waaaaay too tiring, so even when I'm not working I don't have the courage/inspiration to update my blog as often, and secondly something terrible happened to me and my family and my mood is really, really bad so I don't feel like blogging much for the time being. I do, however appreciate  very much your support all this time, your comments make me smile and I feel very lucky because it's only been 1 year and a month this blog's alive and I have more than 1000 members already and I've met some really wonderful people through blogging, so, thank you very, very much for everything! I'm truly grateful and I promise I'll try to write as often as possible, no matter how tired or upset I may feel.

Now, let's move to the products I want to talk about. Surprise, surprise! This blog post is once more, about lipsticks. You know I'm obsessed with them and own way too many, I really want to review all of them if possible, so there we go! Rimmel, as you probably know is a drugstore brand that offers a wide selection of products in reasonable prices, I really want to try more of their stuff but I only own those 3 lipsticks for the time being.

They are from the Moisture Renew range, which as the name indicates concludes of hydrating/moisturizing lipsticks which I normally don't like much, I'm a fan of matte, pigmented lipsticks no matter if they dry out my lips, which is not the case here.

I own the shades Notting hill nude which is a beautiful pinkish nude, Pink chic which is a soft pink and Violet pop which is a pinkish/violet raspberry (if that makes any sense at all) shade.

My take on the Rimmel moisture renew lipsticks:

They have a beautiful packaging which is also sturdy and the product's safe in it. I like the fact that in the bottom of it you can see the color and name of each lipstick, but I dislike the fact they're not easy to stand upside down on a lipsticks case because of their shape. They are very moisturizing on the lips, they actually feel like a lip balm, and the pigmentation's okay, nothing extraordinary, it's not that strong but it can easily be built up. They don't last  long on the lips but I didn't expect them to either, since they're hydrating lipsticks but that's fine with me as it's very easy to reapply without even having to use a mirror, especially in the lightest shades. They look beautiful on the lips and they don't gather on the fine lines of the lips. However, they have a huge disadvantage in my humble opinion... that smell. Ughhhh! I normally don't have issues with lipsticks' smells, but those have such a strong -flowery I think- smell I can hardly stand it! It's such a pity because they're really nice lipsticks but their smell is way too intense, I may have to try taking the lids off for a day or two and see if it goes away...

Overall, I'd recommend those lipsticks to those who love hydrating lipsticks and DON'T MIND intense smells. I don't think I can think of another disadvantage except their intolerable scent but that's enough on its own to prevent one from using them... I'll try to de-scent them and let you know if it worked.

I had gotten mine from www.fragracedirect.com for 1 pound each, but it unfortunately no longer ships to Greece anymore, but you can also find them at the greek e-shop www.bebeauty.gr for 4,30 euros each,  www.asos.com for 8.62 euros each (there's often a -30% off so keep an eye on it!), ebay , etc.

Beauty Line Lipsticks - Review & Swatches!

Γεια σας κορίτσια! Σήμερα θα σας δείξω τρία κραγιόν που έχω στην κατοχή μου από την Ελληνική και πολύ οικονομική εταιρεία Beauty Line Cosmetics. Έχω ένα μπεζ, ένα ροζ ψυχρό και ένα μπορντωβυσσινοφραουλί :p Ας τα δούμε λοιπόν!

Έρχονται σε ασημί πλαστικές συσκευασίες που εγώ προσωπικά να πω την αμαρτία μου τις είχα περάσει για μεταλλικές στην αρχή και αναγράφουν την απόχρωση τους στο κάτω μέρος σε ένα στρογγυλό αυτοκόλλητο σε χρώμα ανάλογο του περιεχομένου, κάτι που με βολεύει πολύ γιατί τα βάζω όρθια ανάποδα και καταλαβαίνω με την μία ποιό είναι ποιό. Δεν έχουν καμία συσκευασία σούπερ ουάου αλλά είναι αξιοπρεπέστατα και δεν ανοίγουν μέσα στην τσάντα οπότε είναι μια χαρά!

Απόχρωση νο 323 * 

Πρόκειται για ένα μπεζ βουτυρένιο χρώμα που όπως θα βλέπετε δεν έχει έντονη χρωματική απόδοση. Πιο πολύ μου θυμίζει lip balm με χρώμα παρά κραγιόν, η απόδοση χτίζεται βέβαια αν βάλετε αρκετές στρώσεις αλλά και πάλι οπάκ δεν είναι με τίποτα. Μυρίζει βούτυρο κακάο αλλά εμένα προσωπικά η μυρωδιά του δεν μου αρέσει καθόλου. Είναι πολύ ενυδατικό και glossy, με απειροελάχιστη διάρκεια στα χείλη. Αν ψάχνετε απλώς ένα ενυδατικό κραγιόν με λίγο χρώμα για κάθε μέρα και δεν σας ενοχλεί το άρωμα του ίσως να σας αρέσει, εγώ προσωπικά δεν ξετρελάθηκα κιόλας.

Απόχρωση νο 302

Eίναι ένα πανέμορφο, έντονο, ψυχρό ροζ, με πολύ έντονη χρωματική απόδοση σε αντίθεση με το προηγούμενο. Έχει ένα πολύ ωραίο, γλυκό, απροσδιόριστο και διακριτικό άρωμα που μου αρέσει πολύ, απλώνεται εύκολα στα χείλη και με ένα πέρασμα έχουμε στα χείλη το χρώμα που έχει το κραγιόν. Είναι ημι-ματ και όσο περνάει η ώρα γίνεται εντελώς ματ θα έλεγα και διαρκεί πολλές ώρες αλλά έχει την τάση να ξηραίνει τα χείλη λίγο μετά τις 2-3 ώρες, πράγμα που δεν με ενοχλεί εφ'όσον δε δείχνει αντιαισθητικό. Ένα υπέροχο κραγιόν που συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Απόχρωση νούμερο 1

Ένα υπέροχο φθινοπωρινό-χειμωνιάτικο κραγιόν που είχα συμπεριλάβει στα αγαπημένα μου σκούρα κραγιόν (μπορείτε να δείτε το βίντεο εδώ). Για την χρωματική απόδοση/υφή και διάρκεια ισχύει ακριβώς ότι ισχύει και για το 302, το άρωμα διαφέρει μόνο που μου θυμίζει φραουλίτσα και είναι πάλι διακριτικό και ευχάριστο. Και αυτό το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Τα κραγιόν της beauty line μπορείτε να τα βρείτε στα καταστήματα dust & cream καθώς και σε άλλα καταστήματα με οικονομικά κραγιόν και στοιχίζουν 2,50 ευρώ, πολύ καλή τιμή για την αρκετά καλή τους ποιότητα/συσκευασία.

Αυτό που παρατήρησα είναι πως μάλλον οι αποχρώσεις είναι λίγο hit & miss, αλλά αν εξαιρέσουμε το 323, τα άλλα δύο που έχω καθώς και όσα άλλα δοκίμασα (που κρατήθηκα με το ζόρι να μην τα πάρω γιατί είχα παρόμοιες αποχρώσεις) είχαν ευχάριστο άρωμα, πολύ έντονη χρωματική απόδοση και πολύ ωραία υφή οπότε σίγουρα θα σας πρότεινα να τα δοκιμάσετε!
